Based on the newly defined KUKA brand identity, the agency weiskind created a visual design for the trade fair as an interactive experience space with a spectacular architectural icon. The main focus for Zeeh Design was the development of the complete basic construction and the exact implementation of the brand space.
The architectural icon is made from of a variety of freeform shapes. The development of the components was followed by a permanent structural test. The lightweight, asymmetric construction is formed from innovative materials and uses traditional handcraft techniques.
Thanks to agile project management and intelligent engineering, the interdisciplinary project team was able to continuously implement improvements. Despite its integrated appearance the architecture is based on a modular stand concept that was used in a modified form shortly thereafter at Automatica.
