Exhibition stand at Hannover Messe.

Client: KUKA Scope: Stand construction

Task

Based on the newly defined KUKA brand identity, the agency weiskind created a spectacular architectural icon that transformed the trade fair appearance into an interactive experience space. Zeeh Design’s main task was to develop the complete structural framework and precisely implement the branded environment.

Approach

The architectural icon consists of a multitude of freeform shapes. The development of the components was followed by continuous structural testing. Innovative materials and traditional craftsmanship formed the foundation of the lightweight, asymmetrical design.

Thanks to agile project management and smart engineering, the interdisciplinary project team was able to implement ongoing optimisations effectively. Despite its stand-alone appearance, the architecture is based on a modular stand concept, which was later adapted and showcased in a different form at Automatica.
