Where does the IAA Mobility take place in Munich?
The IAA Summit for trade visitors takes place on the exhibition grounds of Messe München. This is supplemented by the Open Space concept with event areas in historic locations in the center of Munich. The IAA Blue Lane is a 15.5 km long test track for emission-free cars and electric bicycles, connecting the various event locations with the exhibition grounds.
When was the IAA first held in Munich?
The IAA took place in Munich for the first time from September 7th to 12th, 2021, and attracted over 400,000 participants with a new event concept involving more than 700 exhibitors and over 900 speakers. The focus was not only on cars, but the fair also provided a platform for digital and climate-neutral mobility of the future. Since then, it takes place every 2 years in Munich and lasts for 7 days.
